View the thread below for resources from the webinar.

This Powering Tourism webinar and customer panel brings together three government leaders to discuss the challenges their governments faced, and the solutions they explored and implemented. You’ll hear from Kristina Nayden, Marketing Manager for Silverthorne, CO; Brandi Timm, Planning Technician for Summit County, CO’s short-term rental program; and Heidi Krzebietke, Digital Media & Communications for Vail, CO. The session will provide a blueprint for other municipalities and counties with a similar tourism economy and those seeking to attract tourism.

About the Panel

Heidi Krzebietke is the Digital Media and Communications Specialist at the Town of Vail since January of 2020. During her time with the Town, she launched a new website, vailgov.com. She also has grown the Town's databases for communication and created programs, standards and guidelines for all departments to communicate with the public. Heidi also manages the engagevail.com website where new projects and initiatives are posted along with opportunities for community feedback. Heidi has lived in the Vail Valley for 9 years and before working at the Town of Vail, held marketing positions with a few other later companies in the area. In her free time, Heidi enjoys dirt biking, snowboarding, camping and softball.

Kristina Nayden, Marketing and Communications Manager, joined the Town of Silverthorne in 2019 as the Town’s first dedicated marketing and communications staff member. During her time with Silverthorne, she has helped the town prioritize and grow its communication channels with residents, while creating authentic and transparent messaging that keeps both residents and visitors informed. Prior to joining the Town of Silverthorne, Kristina spent almost six years working in marketing at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. Her time at A-Basin has helped provide a unique perspective on visitor marketing during her current role in government communications. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside with friends and family and making the most of the many recreation opportunities that Summit County has to offer.

Brandi Timm is the STR Program Coordinator for Summit County Government. She is a Colorado native and has lived in Summit County for 27 years. She has worked for Summit County Community Development for 5 years and appreciates the community and all it has to offer. She enjoys snowboarding, cross country skiing, biking, reading, and is an avid sports fan; particularly baseball.
