Hi All, New admin here with the City of Portland. I've done some hunting around but I don't see any previous on this matter. The fact that the image title and the ALT text are inextricably linked presents numerous problems.
- Naming, finding images requires one kind of language.
- Creating useful and accessible ALT test requires another.
This seems to be a rather obvious oversight. Wondering if there are any plans to decouple ALT text from image titles? Our new users were rather disconcerted to hear about this during the initial training and have asked us to ask Granicus about this and make a feature request.
If this has been addressed elsewhere please direct me to any other resources.
